About your instructor

Orit has taught swimming since 2017 — as a lifeguard and swim instructor with Sunsational Swim School, Florida Swim Company, and Aqua Mobile Swim, and at Camp Ramah — evaluating every student and writing an individual plan for each one. She holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education (Adelphi University), has taught in classrooms from preschool up, speaks Hebrew fluently, and has taught martial arts since 2014 — which is where the patience, the discipline, and the reading of a nervous student’s body language come from.

Across swimming and martial arts, she has spent 20 years teaching students of every age — her martial-arts students alone range from 18 months to 70 years old. She has taught private swim lessons at homes and condos for several summers across the Aventura–Miami area, including Villa Dorada.

Motek Swim School is her own school: about twenty private clients, nearly all by referral. You can also find Motek Swim School on Facebook.
